The Chairman's notes outlined the plans for St. Dunstan's during wartime and reported on a conference nearly a year ago at which it was agreed that St. Dunstan's should be the national centre for the full care of the war-blinded in the event of war. To that end the Home at Ovingdean was being converted into a hospital. (pp. 1-2)
